Direct Connect Sub
The patented Direct Connect Sub is configured to make the CCL to perforating gun connection even better using the Yellow Jacket Pre-Wired Complete and Pull & Play™ gun systems. It connects the CCL directly to the perforating gun without a quick change, port or wires. Eliminating the quick change strengthens and shortens the tool string and reduces the risk of misrun. Eliminating the port and wire reduces the risk of misrun even more. The innovative electrical contact assembly also decreases redress time
FEATURES
OPTIMIZED TOOL STRING CONFIGURATION
• Stronger tool configuration without quick change small diameter
• Shortened tool string is optimal for tight radius well geometries
REDUCED RISK OF MISRUNS
• Reduced risk of misruns, no ports, no wires, fewer o -rings and components to potentially fail
COMPATIBLE WITH INDUSTRY-STANDARD COMPONENTS
• Features industry-standard CCL threads
REDUCED LABOR
• Fewer components to assemble, redress and clean each run saves time and labor costs
• Configured to work exclusively with Yellow Jacket Pre-wired Complete and Pull & Play™ guns
INNOVATIVE, LONGER-LASTING ELECTRICAL CONTACT ASSEMBLY
• Reusable, disposable design
• Innovative, plunging contact pin
• Easier Redress: single, replaceable unit, no complicated teardown

Next week, we are back in beautiful Lake Louise for the SPE Drilling & Completions Workshop. Stop by Booth 5 to connect with our team and learn how our integrated plug-and-perf systems are helping operators improve efficiency, reliability, and performance across every stage.
BOTTOM-SET PLUGS DON’T WORKBECAUSE PLUGS NEED LENGTH AND MASS.
Successful plugs aren’t tiny. They require enough length and mass to maintain compression on the sealing element and hold slips engaged under load. Composite plugs have always followed this principle. That’s why they are longer and built around a mandrel.
Bottom-set dissolvables were designed to be as short as possible to reduce magnesium cost. That design decision removed the structure needed to maintain reliable isolation.
Short plugs may save material. But they don’t hold pressure.
M1NT. Top-set for a reason.
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Christ and the hope, grace, and new life it represents. Wishing our customers, friends, and families a blessed and meaningful Easter.
BOTTOM-SET PLUGS DON’T WORK BECAUSE PLUGS NEED A BACKBONE!
Composite plug users understand the basics: a plug needs structure to hold isolation under pressure. That structure comes from the mandrel.
The mandrel keeps the slips engaged and maintains compression on the sealing element. Remove it, and the entire plug relies on components that can move or relax under load.
Bottom-set dissolvable plugs removed the mandrel to save material cost. In doing so, they removed the backbone of the plug.
The M1NT™ dissolvable plug keeps the mandrel where it belongs - providing the structure required to hold isolation when pressure builds.
M1NT. Top-set for a reason.
The data is finally catching up to what the field already knows. Bottom-set dissolvable plugs were built to reduce material cost - not to maximize isolation. In the early days of dissolvable technology, magnesium was extremely expensive. To keep plug prices down, designs were shortened, and the mandrel was removed. That’s how the bottom-set design was born.
But anyone who has run composite plugs understands the basics: plugs need length, mass, and a backbone. The mandrel provides that backbone. Remove it, and you sacrifice the structure required to hold isolation under pressure. When isolation fails, the savings disappear.
‣ The M1NT™ Dissolvable Plug is the only true Top-Set dissolvable on the market.
From day one, Yellow Jacket chose design integrity over cost-cutting. As the cost of dissolvable magnesium has dropped, so has our barrier to entry. Our price point in now attractive to operators trying to find a dissolvable plug that works 99.9985% of the time.
Recent reports from DarkVision and others suggest bottom-set dissolvable plugs fail at rates approaching 40%. Our trial results have many of the top operators rethinking shutting down their dissolvable programs. There’s a reason composite plugs dominate isolation completions: the majority of composite plugs are top-set.
The M1NT™ dissolvable frac plug delivers market-leading isolation – at prices you can afford. M1NT is top-set for a reason. Don’t continue to let bottom-set plugs disappoint you. Call us!
